The Fitting Band
Once your wire size has been determined, then we do a fitting with a band that has no cups in it to determine 2 things.
- Is the angle and placement of the wires correct for the shape and angle of the body?
- Does the calculated torso shape in the band matching the actual torso shape of the body?
Often times the fitting band magically fits and we can move on right away to basting in cups at the same fitting. Typically, 10 minutes to fit the band, 5 to 10 minutes to stitch in the cups and another 5-10 minutes to assess fit.
